Evergreen Progress Despite Vandalism

Many work items were completed in May before and after the May 23 vandalism to the ductwork of the new Evergreen High School classroom building, and the resulting cleanup work.
Areas of Progress
Building B (Classroom building, northeast corner)
- Completed exterior framing and sheathing around the classroom building on the northeast corner.
- Completed interior wall framing and rough-in throughout Building.
- Completed framing all ceiling soffits. Drywall installation to follow.
- Window frame installation mostly complete, starting glazing installation.
Building A (Activities wing, includes gyms, locker rooms)
- Completed fire proofing installation.
- Completed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing preparations for roof system.
- Completed all roof framing.
- Poured slab-on-grade concrete floors for gym, flexible performance space and aux gym.
- Installed metal roof decking at gym and auditorium.
Major Activities Planned for Next Period: June 2024
- Continue brick veneer installation at exterior of both buildings.
- Continue installation of metal roof over north section of Building B..
- Hanging drywall in level 3 of Building B
- Window glazing installation in B North.
- Install roofing over aux Gym.
