A Letter from Principal Downey - May 12

A Letter from Principal Downey - May 12

Dear Evergreen Students and Families,

At Evergreen, we care about one another. This was so evident in the incredible We Care Week 1 activities last week that were led by students and staff alike! Our emails and postings on Instagram @ehswolverines featured a stress management workshop, tips on how to organize and manage your schedule, and other resources for mental health wellness and suicide prevention. There will be even more content coming out this week for We Care Week 2, including a fitness class taught by your own EHS PE teachers!

We also know that there is a lot going on in your life, our community, our country, and the world, especially in the time of COVID-19. We realize some of you use school to process this heavy load so today we are taking a temperature check to see what’s on your mind. Visit @ehswolverines Instagram story and answer the question or feel free to email Ms. Zimmerman let us know if there is a topic that you’d like to process with students and/or staff from school. We will be setting up Zoom sessions around current topics in the coming weeks to provide that space.
