Dear Evergreen Students and Families,

As part of our month of senior celebrations, this week is College and Career Week at Evergreen! There are opportunities to engage in social media (Instagram @ehscollegecareer) and with teachers about various pathways to post-secondary learning and careers. This all culminates in our Senior Signing Day event on May 29th from 1:00-2:00pm on Zoom. Come celebrate our seniors’ accomplishments with guest speakers like a New York State Superintendent of the Year, Seattle Storm CEO and General Manager, Highline School Board Member, and the President of South Seattle College.

Parenting Teens with Courage and Connection by Sound Discipline

A Free, private 4-week online parenting course for Evergreen High School Parents RSVP to receive the Zoom link

We have heard from parents who are seeking ways to support their children and connect with other parents of high schoolers during these challenging times. Parents of teens are often challenged by power struggles, arguments over chores, sibling fights, clashes over homework and screen time, to name a few. This workshop series provides an introduction to the skills and tools needed to get to the core of conflict and bring more peace and joy to your home. It’s never too late to learn new ways of building connection and mutual respect with your teen! We will meet from 6:30-8:00pm, Tuesdays May 26, June 2, 9, 16
