As Evergreen enters a new chapter in a new school building, students, staff, families and alumni shared a desire for an athletic identity that reflects today’s student body and feels consistent across teams.
We are proud to share the refreshed logo for Evergreen Athletics.
Over the past school year, a committee of students, staff and alumni gathered schoolwide input and worked with a committee of students, staff, alumni and community partners to create a bold, modern and unified athletic mark.
A new athletic mark
The logo for Evergreen Athletics will be used for athletics-related materials, including teams, spirit wear, signage and athletic communications. It does not replace Evergreen High School’s official school logo.
The updated Evergreen “E” honors our school’s history while giving today’s student-athletes a bold, modern and unified athletic mark.
The logo features a strong block “E” with a forest scene inside. The tree imagery connects to Evergreen’s name, school identity and sense of place. The bold shape keeps the “E” recognizable while giving it a cleaner, more modern look.
Guided by Schoolwide Input
Students, staff, alumni and community members shared what the new athletic logo should represent, what should be kept or updated, and what could better reflect the culture and diversity of our school community.
Students wanted to keep the “E” because it is recognizable and tied to Evergreen. They also asked for a sharper, cleaner and more modern design, consistent colors and a logo they would feel proud to wear.
Many responses also named elements of place and identity, including evergreen or cedar trees, forest imagery, roots and references to the White Center community. Those ideas connected to resilience, tradition, growth and being rooted.
The above are examples of what new spiritwear may look like with the new athletic logo.
What happens next
The new athletic logo will begin appearing on school and athletic materials over time. Some current materials may continue to be used during the transition.
Thank you to the design committee for the time, care and thoughtfulness they brought to this work. Their leadership helped create an athletic mark rooted in Evergreen pride and community input.
