Khaleelah Rahsaan has been selected as assistant principal for Evergreen High School, starting July 1.
Khaleelah joins us from Federal Way School District where she served as an assistant principal for 4 years. She earned her BA in sociology and Spanish and her MA in education both from University of Oregon. Khaleelah received her administrative certificate from the Danforth program at the University of Washington. She has taught Spanish of all levels for 14 years, 11 of which were at Chief Sealth International High School in Seattle. She has served on many leadership teams including the race and equity team, department chair, mentor teacher, and building leadership chair. She is most passionate about being an advocate for Latinx and African American families and hopes to bring this knowledge and passion to Evergreen High School.
